We are pleased to accept comments from all industries for our further improvement. Individual with high ideals are more than welcome to join our team. If any person interest in applying for a member of HKBIA and the applicants should meet related membership requirements. Application forms are available in the HKBIA website for download or contact our office, complete and together with the realted qualification testmonial copies, and the check and sent them to HKBIA office. All applications would be assessed by the Association Committee for final approval, The applicant could receive the Notice within 2 to 4 weeks.

Entry Requirement:

  • Corporate Member (CHBIA) – Should be approved by the Assessment Committee.
  • Fellowship (FHBIA) – Possession of a relevant Higher Diploma, plus 15 years' relevant experience.
  • Professional Member (PHBIA) – Recommended by the Selection Committee.
  • Member (MHBIA) – Possession of a relevant Higher Certificate or higher diploma, plus 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Associate Member (AMHBIA) – Possession of a relevant certificate or diploma, plus two years' relevant experience.
  • Student Member (SHBIA) – Graduated from any HKBIA inspection course. 
* If the applicant could not reached the above entry requirements, but have been engaged in the related working experience for years and attached with the employer's referral letter. The Association Committee would consider the application by individual case.

1 Year Membership Fee:

  • Corporate Member (CHBIA) – HK$ 3,000.00
  • Fellowship (FHBIA) – HK$ 1,500.00
  • Professional Member (PHBIA) – Free
  • Member (MHBIA) – HK$ 1,000.00
  • Associate Member (AMHBIA) – HK$ 500.00
  • Student Member (SHBIA) – Free
